"André Citroën" Chair

Cars of the future will incorporate an ever-increasing variety of technologies. With this in mind, in 2016, l’X, the l’X Foundation and the PSA Group decided to renew the "André Citroën" Chair, named after the Polytechnician who entered the institution in 1898. The themes explored by this Chair touch upon mechanical materials and structures, surface physics, numerical modeling and multiphysics coupling. The Chair also focuses on sustainable manufacturing and structural weight reduction, aesthetics, and health and well-being on board. With the support of PSA University, the automobile group's corporate university, the Chair is further opening up to the international academic network.
