The "Data Science and Industrial Processes" Chair was created in Morocco in 2019 following the initiative of École Polytechnique, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the École Polytechnique Foundation. Its mission is to transform students into innovators who are able to use data science to develop the industrial processes of tomorrow. Led by Éric Moulines, statistics professor at l’X and member of the Academy of Sciences in Paris, the Chair comprises two programs. The first is an intensive eight-week focusing on real case studies. The course is open to certain engineering students at UM6P and young professionals in the engineering sector. The second program will be targeted towards the UM6P teaching faculty.
