Created in 2010, CimeX is now at the forefront of the field of environmental microscopy. Its landmark projects are NanoMaX and Nan’eau. The only one of its kind in the world, the NanoMaX machine that allows researchers to observe how atoms are arranged one by one to build matter, in order to study the development of nanomaterials. Nan’eau is designed as a network of microscopy test platforms (electronics, optics, X-rays) and allows samples to be observed under their real conditions of use, particularly in liquid environments.
