The l’X Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, a curriculum forged through history

The École Polytechnique Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program follows a unique curriculum, taking place over four years instead of three, as is the case for other engineering schools. The course provides students with top-quality multidisciplinary training. It offers a wide knowledge base in the fundamental sciences, engineering, economics and social science, while also offering the highly specialized education that is characteristic of an engineering school. The Ingénieur Polytechnicien curriculum is defined by research- and project-based learning, and business experience through direct contact with companies. The first three years lead to award of the title of Engineer of École Polytechnique, then, at the end of their fourth year, students receive their official Diploma of École Polytechnique.
