Key facilities and resources: LULI2000

The LULI2000 high-power laser at the l’X Intense Lasers Laboratory (LULI) is classed as a Large-Scale Research Infrastructure (Très Grande Infrastructure de Recherche (TGIR)), and is a result of government strategy and international partnerships. The instrument offers numerous applications, including in inertial laser fusion and nuclear fusion, fundamental physics of hot dense plasmas, astrophysics and geophysics, and the study and processing of materials using lasers.
