The management: Frank Pacard

Frank Pacard is the Provost of École Polytechnique. A graduate of École Polytechnique (Year of Entry: 1984) and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, he also holds a doctorate in mathematics and an official accreditation for conducting research. Frank Pacard has written over 60 scientific articles and supervises several research projects. In recognition of his research at the crossroads of geometry and the analysis of partial differential equations, he was appointed as a member of the Institut Universitaire de France (Academic Institute of France) in 2004. From 2007 to 2011, Frank Pacard was in charge of mathematics at the Office of Research and Innovation within the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, where he was involved in the creation and implementation of the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences and Interactions at CNRS.
