Shaping tomorrow's world: corporate social responsibility

In a national, European and international environment that is increasingly regulated in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR), companies are now looking to make their social and environmental commitments a lever in their business strategy. An École Polytechnique lecturer, Patricia Crifo, has taken an interest in companies' long-term growth. Her work is set against a background of ecological and economic crisis, the current situation being responsible for the greenhouse gas emissions that are disrupting the climate as well as for a spectacular increase in inequalities and growing economic instability. If we are to leave this model behind, companies will have to play a role. Patricia Crifo's research aims to identify to what extent and under what conditions companies can drive the energy transition.

Especially given that social and environmental responsibility strategies can also be levers of competitiveness and long-term growth.
