Patrons: Jean-Bernard Lartigue (Year of Entry: 1965)

Jean-Bernard Lartigue joined l’X in 1965, and later devoted his entire career to the energy and chemicals sector, first at Elf Aquitaine and then at Total, where he held a number of executive positions. Eager to support the objectives of École Polytechnique, he is one of its major donors. In addition to his financial support, he has been the Executive Director of the l'X Foundation since 2006. The Foundation works to promote the institution’s development, promotes entrepreneurship, innovation and research, and supports students during their studies.
