Abdourahmane Cissé, young Ivorian political leader (1981 to present, Year of Entry: 2001)

Abdourahmane Cissé is a graduate of École Polytechnique and the French Institute of Petroleum (IFP). After working at the investment bank Goldman Sachs International, Cissé was appointed in 2013 to the cabinet of the Prime Minister as Budget Minister of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. At the age of 32, he became the youngest minister in the Ivorian government. He was listed as one of 100 "Young Global Leaders" by the World Economic Forum in 2017. Abdourahmane Cissé is committed to promoting excellence and working for the youth, through the award of scholarships to Ivorian students admitted into top French engineering and business schools.
