The "Asset Management – Gestion d’Actifs" Chair was born in 2016 through a partnership between École Polytechnique, the École Polytechnique Foundation, the Risk Foundation and the Edmond de Rothschild Group. Its goal is to advance knowledge on the mechanisms of financial markets and economic fluctuations. The Chair aims to help develop theories and good practices in the field of savings and, more generally, asset management. It involves three main areas of action: research, education and international expansion. A dedicated investment fund with an educational focus allows students to test investment strategies and measure their risks, using real-life situations and under the supervision of professionals.
