"Sustainable Finance and Responsible Investment" Chair

Launched in 2007, the "Sustainable Finance and Responsible Investment" Chair was the first of its kind in the world. Its research focuses on the impact of responsible investment on the economy and on the operations of economic actors. Its three main research areas are the evaluation of long-term ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance and risks, corporate governance, and shareholder engagement. The Chair is co-directed by Patricia Crifo of the l’X Economics Department and Sébastien Pouget, Professor of Finance at Toulouse 1 Capitole University. It receives financial support from around a dozen asset management companies, under the direction of the French Asset Management Association (AFG).
